๐Ÿšจ Attention: The old HCP Statement design will be phased out in early April, with the new statement layout automatically replacing it. We encourage admins to switch to the new format under Finance Settings.

New features

Basic Daily Care Fee

We have added support for the Basic Daily Care Fee (BDF) for Home Care Package clients in Lookout.

The changes include:

  • Define the BDF fee by going to the 'Supplements and Fees' section.

  • Adds a new BDF funding account to all HCP memberships

  • Includes BDF in the balance projection breakdown, like ITF

  • Includes the calculations in HCP statements

Profile custom attributes

Profiles now also support custom attributes. Custom attributes and values can now be added for:

  • Memberships (Clients)

  • Helpers (Workers)

  • Staffers

  • Products (Rates)

  • Profiles ๐Ÿ†•

This change includes an updated admin interface & API endpoints and updated profiles UI and API payloads to include custom attributes.

CommunityRoles via our API

Driven by the adoption of community permissions, community roles have now been added to our growing API. This allows our customers to manage these assignments in bulk while crafting specific authorisation structures (often amidst hundreds of records).

New Data Export Categories ๐Ÿ“ˆ

Based on your feedback, we've expanded our data export options to include several new categories to better meet your reporting requirements. We are committed to ongoing improvements and will expand new and existing categories as opportunities arise.

Recurring visits updates ๐Ÿ”

Visits will now clearly indicate if they are part of a recurring schedule. We've added a link to edit the schedule rule associated with the visit to make it easier to manage recurring visits.

You can also update it from the Roster or Daily Visits & Punchcard views.

Click 'Change' from the Visit sidebar panel in Roster view

Select 'Edit Rule' from Daily visits or Punchcard view

Delete Erroneous Profiles ๐Ÿšฎ

Admin users with a Data Management access role can now delete profiles not attached to anything important (e.g., those not linked to helpers or memberships with data records, or a newly created duplicate profile, etc.).

The 'Permanently delete profile' button can be found at the very end of the Edit Profile page.

Deleting a profile takes a few minutes, but you will get a notification once the action is complete.

Hide Product Prices from Contractors

Admins can now hide product prices from contractors. This will conceal the price charged to the member and will no longer be visible on the care worker app visit details, checkout, and invoice summaries on the contractor's Earnings tab.

Before: Prices for each product are visible to the Contractor, including how much the member was charged and the platform fee.

After: Prices are now hidden, and only the Take home pay is visible to Contractors

Admins can toggle this setting on or off by going to the Contractor's helper page > Settings > Business Information.

Improvements

"Misconfigured" account notice

We've updated the message when a user is invited into Lookout but has yet to be assigned a role, such as Helper or Admin staff, to communicate the situation better.

If you see this message after logging in, you can contact your admin to finish setting up your account.

HCP Projected Balance Breakdown ๐Ÿ’ฐ

You can now expand the Projected balance for the current open claim period for HCP members. Using the dropdown menu for each category, see a detailed breakdown and understand where the balances are coming from.

Delivered amounts reflect funds used or invoiced, whereas planned amounts represent estimated costs based on available data for this membership. As billing runs for the period are published, planned services will automatically transition into delivered services.

The breakdown is only available to admin users. The projected balance view on the care (mobile) app remains unchanged.

Display Company Name and Logo

We've added the company name and logo next to your name in the side menu. While subtle, this change makes it easier to identify between Lookout instances, particularly for users managing more than one.

Switch to the New HCP Statement Design

Switch to our new statement design for a cleaner and more user-friendly layout. Experience added features like anonymising helper names and adding messages to personalise your statements.

We will provide more information on when the old statement design will be phased out in April.
