New features

New navigation

In the coming days you'll see we have designed a new navigation menu that makes navigating and discovering what Lookout can do easier.

  • You'll first notice that the menu is open by default with all the links viewable.

  • The structure has changed slightly to group links in a more logical way.

  • For easier access to commonly used items, you can choose to collapse the subheadings.

  • You can collapse the nav using the button next to the logo. Great for when you're rostering and want more room.

  • Settings, support guides and signing out are now accessed by clicking on your profile.

Restore cancelled visits

We have included a new feature that enables the restoration of cancelled visits. This functionality comes in handy when a member is on leave but returns earlier than expected, and you wish to restore the previously cancelled visits. To locate cancelled visits within a specific date range for a membership, navigate to the Roster List view and apply the appropriate filters. Once you have identified the desired visits, select them and click "Options" followed by "Restore visits".

Membership intake form

Signing up new Members is time-consuming, from gathering personal and family details to creating a Help plan, undertaking assessments and signing agreements.

The Membership Intake Form streamlines the sign-up process by consolidating previous functions onto a single page. After completion, it provides waypoints to aid in follow-up actions. What's more, it can be easily accessed on the go, whether on an iPad or laptop.

Lookout Analytics add-on

Explore your data effortlessly with Lookout Analytics' collection of intelligent dashboards. Each dashboard is designed to quickly answer your queries and present them in the most appropriate format for your team, whether a bar chart or a detailed table.

Improvements

Verifications

We've been working to improve how care organisations can manage, control access and track change to verifications within Lookout.

New 'Verifications' Access Role

A new Access Role named 'Verifications' has been introduced to better manage admin staff members' ability to upload, download, and approve Helper verification documents.

Access roles can be edited by anyone with 'Staff management' permission.

Helper's Verifications for a staff member WITH the Verifications access role.

Helper's Verifications for a staff member WITHOUT the Verifications access role.

Audit changes to verification files

Staff granted the "Verifications" Access Role can access a change log showing any updates made to Helper verifications.

Care & Package Management Fees

Weekly Care & Package Management Fees now utilise the invoice issue date upon publishing the billing run. The invoice issue date will be the Sunday within the billing run period.

This update aims to enhance the clarity of the HCP Statements for clients by specifying the week to which the Care & Package Management Fees are related.
