Lookout allows you to add Community Nursing referrals and specify the effective and expiry dates used for online claiming.
When claiming for DVA, the earliest referral plan's Period Start date is used for the first day of the claim. Older plans must be archived to indicate they are no longer used for claiming.
Where can I see referrals for a membership?
Active referrals for each client can be viewed on the membership dashboard underneath the DVA Referral Plans widget. The widget will give you an overview of the active referral and detail the referrer name, provider type and referral date.
Clicking on 'View All' will show all referrals for the client.
Add a new DVA Referral
To add a referral, click "View All" from the DVA Referral Plans widget on a membership. This will bring you to the view all page for referrals, where you can add or make changes.
Click "Add Referral Plan" and add the details from the Community Nursing Referral.
Edit a DVA Referral
Click "View All" from the DVA Referral Plans widget on a membership to edit an existing referral. This will bring you to the view all page for referrals, where you can select the referral required edits.
Click on the three dots to the right of the referral to edit.
Archive a DVA Referral
Click "View All" from the DVA Referral Plans widget on a membership to edit an existing referral. This will bring you to the view all page for referrals, where you can select the referral to archive.

How do I see expiring DVA referral plans?
A DVA Referral Plans report is available to identify any referral plans expiring in the set period. This report can be utilised to ensure all clients in the latest claim have a valid referral plan.
How do I delete a DVA referral plan?
It is not possible to delete a referral plan for DVA. However, a plan that is not needed can be archived.
