New features

Calendar schedule view

The new calendar view shows a condensed summary of the filtered helpers' visits for a weekly period, displaying as much information as possible!

Visit and unavailability filters

Filtering visit status and unavailability on the schedule has been made easier. These filters are now applicable to the Detail, Daily, Weekly, Condensed, and Calendar views, as well as the fill-vacant visit view.

Levelling up should-knows and must-dos!

We've been working hard to improve the creation of should-knows and must-dos on visits.

Recurring should-knows/must-dos on schedule rules

Via the schedule rules, or when adding a new should-know to a recurring visit, you can choose for the should-know to recur with the rule and apply to all scheduled visits in the series.

Bulk should-know/must-do creation via the rostering list view

You can apply a should-know or must-do in bulk to selected visits via the roster's list view on helpers and memberships.

Bulk should-knows tool

This tool will fetch all helpers within the selected communities that have a visit in the next two weeks and apply the defined should-know to their first visit.

Platform API for Clients

With our new client endpoint, you can conveniently create and update a membership with just one request. Moreover, we've added more endpoints that enable you to;

  • Archive or unarchive a client,

  • List, create, or delete incompatibilities

  • Associate or remove any of the client's roles

💬 If you want to know more about how to access our platform API, you can find detailed information in our developer documentation. Alternatively, you may also reach out to your Lookout representative for assistance.

Focal Assessment add-on

Lookout now offers a digital library of assessments that allows organizations to digitally monitor and measure health outcomes.

  • Falls Risk Assessment (FRAT)

  • Abbey Pain Scale

  • Norton Risk Assessment

  • Self-Administration of Medications Risk Assessment (SAMRAT)

  • Carer Strain Index

Assessments play a vital role in the care delivery of a Member by providing care teams with insights into the likelihood of a health event occurring. For example, knowing one Member is more likely to fall than another allows Care Managers to tailor a care plan to lower the probability of this happening.

Lookout already does a great job of scanning through care workers' notes and analysing them for risk. Assessments complement these notes by allowing an assessor to examine specific areas of a Members pain level, medication compliance or fall risk and determine the best outcome.

Incident Management System (IMS) add-on

The Lookout Incident Management System (IMS) is a tool designed to support Incidents for Clients, Workers and is SIRS compliant.

With Lookouts IMS, users can efficiently detect, address, and minimize the effects of an incident. It also empowers providers to analyze and recognize potential risks and patterns, allowing them to implement preventive measures.

Lookout is designed to assist staff in managing incidents, ensuring the safety and well-being of everyone involved. It provides guidance through each step that must be completed in a specific order to ensure compliance.

💬 For more information about the Incident Management System (IMS) add-on, please contact your Lookout representative.

Community Nursing (DVA)

Lookout supports the Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA) Community Nursing program. This includes the ability to bulk claim directly to Medicare from within Lookout.

DVA claiming from Medicare uses a complex fee schedule that can be a time-consuming process to prepare. Lookout automates fee schedule calculation for the most complex calculations.

💬 To set up Lookout for DVA Community Nursing or configure the Medicare Integration, contact your Lookout representative.

Veterans' Home Care (VHC)

Lookout supports the Department of Veterans’ Affairs Veterans' Home Care (VHC) program, including generating a bulk claim file to upload directly to the VHC Provider Portal.

💬 To set up Lookout for VHC, please contact your Lookout representative.

Improvements

Schedule date picker

There are now buttons available for moving forward or backward by a day or a week, depending on the schedule view.

Moving schedule filters

The schedule filter form has been relocated from the sidebar to a modal that is activated by a button. This change is intended to optimize the screen space available for the schedule view.

Visit Warnings - Double Bookings

We have implemented a warning bar to notify users scheduling visits of any possible double-booking conflicts with their selected helper.
