New features

Provider Travel and Client Transport

Being able to manage all costs and expenses associated with client care is paramount for many care organisations. These costs include travel expenses incurred by support workers travelling to visits (provider travel) and providing transport during visits (client transport). Once travel has been set up, you'll be able to:

  • Track and schedule worker travel to the visit and during the visit.

  • Automate and simplify the billing of travel to clients.

  • Utilise Google maps to help rostering staff with scheduling travel time.

  • Use various levels of configuration to fit different workflows.

Creating a Helper from existing profile

You now have the option to use the details of an existing profile when creating a new helper. From the Marketplace tab, select New Helper.

Enter the name of the helper into the profile search field. If there is an existing profile that matches the name entered, you can select the profile to create a helper using the profile details.

If there are no existing profiles for the name entered you can create one by selecting 'Add new profile...'

Note: Profiles need to have an email, phone number and valid address before you can create a helper from the profile. If any of these details are missing you will be prompted to update the profile before continuing to create a new helper.

Enter the relevant helper details and select Save.

Membership Filters

When searching for members you now also have the option to filter by Location, Funding scheme, Membership Plans and Cohorts.

Role Filters

When performing a profile search, you now have the option to filter the results for specific roles such as Member, User and Emergency Contact.

Pre-filling days and times when updating availability rules

Lookout now makes it easier than ever to update your helper's availability rules when they change. When adding a new availability rule, the previous days and times are copied across so that amendments can be made without having to fill in the whole form from scratch.

This makes it easier to manage a helper's availability changes for certain times of the year such as school holidays, family commitments or study arrangements.

You can now also create empty schedules to block out periods of unavailability, such as holidays.

Improved clarity when archiving memberships

To help improve clarity and usability we have included several checks before you can archive a membership. These checks include if the membership still has recurring visits or surveys assigned and provides guidance on setting a cessation date before archiving the membership.

Search Marketplace by ABN

You now have the option to search the Marketplace for Clinicians and Suppliers by a tax number (ABN).

Notification when a visit is cancelled

A notification in the form of a ticket is now triggered if a visit is cancelled and has a helper related cancellation reason. This helps rostering teams keep track of cancellations and assists them in allocating a replacement support worker.


Lookout app updates

iOS v5.4

  • Fixes a bug where the Try Again button on the error screen would not work.

  • Fixes a bug where tapping the currently selected tab would not reload the screen.

  • Adds more detailed reporting about networking errors.
