New features

Rostering category and the schedule view

A new category has been added to the main Lookout menu: rostering.

The rostering category in Lookout

The rostering tools help you schedule efficiently so you can optimise the utilisation of your workforce. The newest rostering tool is the schedule view, which provides an overview of your support workers' schedules, details about their assigned visits, and new ways to schedule and fill vacant visits.

An example image of the schedule view with availability rules in place. White available blocks of time and greyed-out unavailable blocks of time are displayed horizontally per worker in a table view. Colour-coded visit blocks sit on top of this availability view.

Platform API for Observations

We now have a brand new endpoint for writing observations into Lookout. This will enable integration with third party devices going forward. To find out more about access our platform API, you can read more about it in our developer docs or contact your Lookout representative.

Finance report: projected balances

A new report has been added to the Finance reports section: Projected balances. This report provides an aggregate of all of your clients' projected balances at the current time.

If you have Finance permissions, you can access the reports through the reports subcategory of the Finance menu.

What's fixed

  • Misleading copy which indicated that an email address was optional for the 'helper' role has been replaced to make it clear that this is a required field.
